See How Port Harcourt Big Boy DLB celebrated his birthday





Today, Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs marked his birthday. Being a man who is passionate about education, he chose to share his birthday with the students and staff of Port Harcourt Township School 1. The school he finished from over 40 years ago. 



 It was indeed a day to remember, a day we wished we were young again as he put smiles on their faces, leaving the indelible marks of joy in their hearts. 
Chief Dumo  in his remarks, urged the students to be passionate about their books and imbibe a reading culture, as that is the secret of every successful man. 
As part of his birthday activities, Social Change Group and Keeping it Real Foundation addressed the students on the importance of Quality Education, and Diligence. The students were also familiarized them with the sustainable development goals to shape their minds as they grow.

Chief donated books and reading aids to all student, also cash prizes to the best students at different levels accordingly:
Nursery- 20000
Primary 1- 25000
Primary 2- 30000
Primary 3- 35000
Primary 4- 40000
Primary 5- 45000
Primary 6- 60000 being the overall best student.
The staff was not left out as he also gave out 
Each teacher - 40000
Head teacher- 60000
Other cash prizes were also donated to the school. He also pledged to renovate the schools' toilet.






Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs has shown that he is a man who values education by this empowerment, as this kind gesture will cause the students to sit up and take their books more seriously knowing there is a reward for academic excellence.
